Spring Break is so close!
but yet it feels so far away! The only thing that is stopping me from being ecstatic about Spring Break is a dreaded English paper! I have to write an 8-10 page paper about Japanese Literature. Of course this isn’t the hardest paper I’ve had to write but it’s just so dreadful to write because 1) that class was extremely boring and 2) it’s like the LAST thing I have to do...

It’s 1:30am and I’m about to go to sleep but I just wanted to put this out before I slept: I am super duper excited for the Oscars this year! Why? Two main reasons: 1) Anne Hathaway is co-hosting the show with James Franco, 2) Toy Story 3 will most likely win Best Animated Feature AND was nominated for Best Picture!!! Gah this is exciting! :D

That is so amazing! Hayao Miyazaki seriously makes me proud to be Japanese! Miyazaki is Japan’s treasure and I’m glad that the country takes great pride in him and cherish his talents.

A visit from a friend....
My friend Laurie is visiting Tokyo this week with some of her friends from dance. We met up last night and hung out for most of the day today. It was a lot of fun! They went to Akihabara, then to the Pokemon Center, where I met them. From there we had lunch and headed over to Harajuku.
